New families – apply to Paul PCS!

Interested in becoming a part of the Paul PCS family? All NEW families must first apply through MySchoolDC. Once you apply, you will receive an offer. After you accept the offer for your child, visit Paul Public Charter School’s campus during our Enrollment Office Hours (8:30am – 3:30pm) in April to sign your paperwork and fully register for the upcoming school year. Offers are distributed on a first come, first serve basis and based on grade-level availability. NOTE: To increase your chances of being matched with Paul PCS, please rank Paul PCS #1.

  • Enrollment assistance takes place at Paul Public Charter School’s campus located at 5800 8th St NW, Washington, DC 20011. Enter in the rear of the building where our parking lot is located on 9th Street NW or Missouri Ave. NW or 9th Street NW or Peabody St. NW. The Enrollment team at our school is here to assist you! Returning students and students matched during the lottery have until Monday, May 2, 2022 to secure their seat. Students accepted from the Waitlist* will be given a deadline (a minimum of 10 business days after date of acceptance) to secure their seat. After the deadline seats are filled on a first come, first serve basis based on grade-level availability. (*No students will be accepted from the waitlist until after April 4th).

Paul PCS will continue to accept students through MySchoolDC after the lottery has ended depending on grade level availability. Please continue to apply to Paul and rank us as your top choice!

Standard Guidance
Only DC residents are eligible to enroll and receive a tuition-free education in the District of Columbia. Enrollment of the student in a DC Public School or public charter school must be conducted by an individual that has the authority to enroll the student, physically resides in the District, and can submit supporting residency documentation. Individuals who have the authority to enroll the student are Parent, Guardian, Custodian, Adult student, or an Other Primary Caregiver (who must meet strict requirements to qualify). To be a resident, the enrolling person must:

• Be physically present in DC; and
• Submit valid documentation of DC residency.

Valid documentation of DC Residency
The District of Columbia may use whatever legal means it has at its disposal to verify residency. Providing false information or documentation may result in the payment of retroactive tuition, withdrawal from school, and referral to the DC Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
