Paul PCS is committed to supporting student learning through various distance learning platforms during the citywide response to COVID-19. This page will be regularly updated with learning materials and other resources that support the academic growth and development of our scholars while our campus is closed. Distance Learning Schedule

March 16: Campus closed to students for staff professional development
March 17: Campus open for the distribution of distance learning materials to students
March 18 – April 24: Distance learning for scholars across all grades 6-12
April 27: NO SCHOOL for scholars; Staff professional development

Learning Materials for Scholars

Paul PCS will operate on a normal school day schedule on Tuesday, March 17th in order to distribute materials. Scholars will also learn how to log-in to Google Classroom for direct instruction from their teachers.

Parents can also arrange for pick up during one of two distribution windows: Tuesday, March 17th from 4-6 pm or Wednesday, March 18th from 12:30 to 4:30. If you are unable to secure materials during one of these two times, please contact your child’s school administrator as soon as possible.

Paul PCS Online Learning Platforms (Grades 6-12)

As part of our distance learning plan, Paul PCS will use Google Calendar, Google Classroom, Google Hangout, and Illuminate. The platforms will be used to deliver instruction, upload assignments, set deadlines for assignments, and take assessments in core content classes.  Students will receive an invite and directions on how to connect to Google Classroom from their teacher.

Meal Distribution

We will serve lunch daily from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Additional food distribution sites across the city are listed in the table below. WMATA has also created a list of bus routes serving each DC school meal location. You can view the list here.
